practitioner training
helping practitioners build careers that feel aligned, both clinically and personally
Over the years, I found myself increasingly frustrated by how disconnected most health education felt from actual physiology.
So much of both conventional and so-called “holistic” wellness focuses on chasing symptoms, rigid protocols, or surface-level trends, while missing the bigger question:
Is the body actually producing energy well?
That question became the foundation of how I began approaching health, metabolism, hormones, nervous system regulation, recovery, and client care as a whole.
The way I teach physiology, and the foundation of every training inside Integrative Metabolic Wellness® Academy, is through the understanding that the body is, first and foremost, an energy-producing system.
Every process in the body depends on the ability to efficiently create ATP at the cellular level. When energy production becomes compromised through chronic stress, underfueling, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar instability, overtraining, or nervous system dysregulation, we begin seeing the downstream symptoms so many clients struggle with today.
Rather than simply teaching practitioners how to manage symptoms or follow protocols, my goal became teaching them how to think differently about the body entirely.
This is ultimately how IMW® was born.
What started as my own transition out of the traditional medical system evolved into advanced practitioner trainings…
… designed to help nurses and wellness professionals better understand metabolism, mineral balance, stress physiology, hormones, digestion, functional labs, and the deeper patterns driving chronic dysfunction in modern health.
But equally important, I wanted to help practitioners build careers that actually support their own lives too.
So many practitioners enter this field hoping to help others… only to recreate the same burnout, exhaustion, and misalignment they were trying to escape in the first place.
Through IMWs®, I now teach both the clinical and business side of building an aligned wellness practice… one rooted in physiology, critical thinking, ethics, sustainability, and long-term transformation rather than fear, dependency, or constant hustle.
My signature certification program for nurses and wellness professionals wanting to transition into a more holistic, root-cause approach to health. Within the certification, students learn how to assess and support clients through a physiology-first lens with advanced training in:
metabolic and hormonal health
GI MAP interpretation
DUTCH testing
functional analysis of blood chemistry
nervous system and stress physiology
nutrition and lifestyle interventions
client communication and case strategy
and more
The certification allows for independent ordering of functional labs after completion of. program through our lab partner.
The program includes access to both HTMA Mastery and The Aligned Practitioner (details below).
Integrative Metabolic Wellness® Certification
HTMA Mastery for Practitioners
An advanced practitioner training focused specifically on Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and mineral-driven physiology, with a focus on nervous-system-focused interpretation.
This course is designed for current practitioners who want to confidently:
interpret HTMAs
identify mineral patterns and stress trends
understand thyroid, adrenal, and nervous system relationships
integrate HTMA into client protocols
use HTMA within a sustainable clinical framework
HTMA Mastery is included inside the IMW Certification, but is also available as a standalone training for qualified practitioners.
The Aligned Practitioner
A business and marketing training for wellness practitioners wanting to build a practice that supports both their clients and their own lives.
Inside, we cover:
audience building
content strategy
ethical marketing
lead generation
offers and pricing
client journeys
sustainable business systems
and building a business without burnout-driven hustle culture
This training was created to help practitioners build businesses that feel aligned, sustainable, profitable, and deeply impactful long term.
It’s to help create practitioners who:
understand physiology deeply
think critically
support the body at the root level
communicate ethically
continue learning
and build practices that genuinely change lives, including their own
